Let's forget about that post where I wrote that I wasn't a flower buyer. Things have changed. I think it's going to become a weekly thing now. Seeing flowers in my room improves my mood. I totally used prepping this post as an excuse to play with flowers and my camera. I went out to search for flowers that matched.

As the post title states, this is a review. My first beauty review in fact. Hey there new category.
A while back, I was asked to try a few products from The Body Shop's "Vitamin E" skincare range. This opportunity came at the right time as exams had really dealt with me. My face, skin and eyes were not at their best. They needed some real TLC. I needed to switch up my face routine and drink more water. Now I'm done, I've got time to take care of myself. I'm going to start from the product I liked the least and then move gradually on to my favourite.

I was eager to try this out as I'd been considering switching from foundation to bb creams for a while now. I had my doubts about it when I saw it on the website and they were confirmed when I received it. My only problem with this product is that it doesn't match my skin tone. I accidentally put too much on my hand but cleaned some off before blending. I don't know if you can see it in the photo above but it makes me look a bit ashy. I believe it would suit a lighter person better.
I powder my face with my Clinique powder after I apply it and that makes it match more. I'll have a post up with them both on my face so you can see how it looks.
Unfortunately it only comes in one shade. However, I want to try this Tea Tree Flawless BB cream. That comes in three shades. I'll let you know how that turns out.

I like the smell of this one. In case you're wondering what it is, it's a face and neck moisturiser. It's different because it looks almost like a gel to be honest but doesn't feel like one. It actually does what it's supposed to do. Moisturise. I apply this after using my homemade face toner - 1 part Bragg's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar + 8 parts water. What I've noticed though is that a little goes a long way. My face flakes when I put too much on. You just have to play around till you find what the right amount for your face is.

This feels nice to touch and has a pretty good smell too. I love how my face feels after a wash. So silky, so soft, ha! You only need a small amount so this 100ml tube should last a while. I'm definitely going to get the Vitamin E Cream Exfoliator as well. That's got good reviews on the site and I need an exfoliator so why not?

This one is my favourite. It might all be in my head but I've been using this for a few days now and the skin around my eyes looks a lot better. Of course, coupled with drinking water, eating well and getting enough sleep. I'm seeing results, my under-eye area looks a lot more hydrated. It is a small tube, just 15ml but then you only need a tiny dot for each eye. I use this twice a day, in the morning and before bed. Lifesaver. Or should I say eyesaver?

To end this, I'll say so far I like the Vitamin E range and would recommend it to people.
I've got a list of products not mentioned in this post that I need to go get in-store. If I like them, I'll do a post and let you all know.
