It's funny how I got the motivation to finally hit publish on this post after waiting over 3 hours for a friend to come pick me up. I don't know if it's just me but I've reached a point in my life where I don't want to wait for things to happen especially if I can hurry along the waiting process. Patience has never been a virtue of mine. I do realise that certain things take time - don't get me wrong - however, I don't want to sit around waiting for opportunities to drop in my lap. 2017 is for making and seizing opportunities. Amen to that! 2017 might also have to be the year that I finally get over my fear of being behind steering wheels, i.e. the year I learn how to drive. Wish me luck.


I keep preaching that versatility is one of the major things to look out for when investing in pieces for your wardrobe. For example, this romper/playsuit that I've previously worn here. I've owned it for quite a while now and I can't bring myself to part with it. Recently, I've been pairing it with skirts and loose trousers. Who knows, I might even try layering it like I've done with this bralet and top. Trust me guys, I've got the keys.
